Geographical issue

A geographical issue rarely belongs to just one topic. A proposed port, for example, concerns transport and employment, but also coastal ecosystems and the tourists attracted by them. Understanding it requires a synoptic approach: bringing together relevant learning from different parts of physical and human geography.
