Freshwater

Only about 2.5% of Earth's water is freshwater. Of that freshwater, approximately 68.7% is stored in glaciers and ice sheets, and 30% is groundwater. The remaining 1.3% is in stores including lakes, rivers, soil moisture and the atmosphere.
