Caricature

The specialist writing I am using is Option C, Jim DeRogatis's Juno – Get Real. He argues that the film presents simplistic caricatures of people involved in abortion and questions whether its apparent empowerment of women exists only on the surface. This has deepened my understanding by making me consider not only whether Juno makes her own decisions, but also how the film presents the options available to her.
