Component 2
Revise: Rocks: aestheticsA film’s aesthetic qualities are its visual and aural qualities: how its images, movement, editing and sound work together artistically. Narrative concerns what happens; aesthetic analysis asks how the experience of watching and listening is shaped. A scene can be engaging because of its colour, rhythm or performances even when little happens to advance the plot.
