War photographer

Carol Ann Duffy’s War Photographer follows an unnamed photographer developing pictures after returning to England. Although he is physically safe, the images bring back the suffering he witnessed. The poem then turns to the editor who selects the photographs and the newspaper readers who briefly respond before continuing their comfortable lives.
