Revise: War PhotographerDashes introduce the two photographic examples at lines 9 and 13. Their parallel openings connect Ascot and the war-zone street to the initial argument about framing. The movement from ‘once’ to ‘last week’ also brings the violent memory closer to the speaker’s present.
