Energy obtained from natural sources that are continually replenished, such as sunlight and wind, or can be replaced through regrowth, such as biomass.

Revise: Renewable energyA renewable energy source is naturally replenished or can be replaced through regrowth. Sunlight, wind and moving water provide recurring supplies of energy; biomass can be replaced by growing more plants. This makes them different from finite supplies of fossil fuels.
Do not describe renewable energy as having no environmental impact. Give a specific impact, such as flooded habitats or emissions from burning biomass.
