Revise: SensorsA piezoelectric sensor contains material that generates electrical charge when mechanically stressed. A force that compresses or deforms the sensing material produces an electrical signal. Changing forces, including impacts and vibration, can therefore be detected.
Give a limitation relevant to the design: a piezoelectric sensor is suitable for impacts and vibration, but not a reliable long-term measurement of a constant load.
