Revise: Manufacturing to a toleranceA tolerance is the permitted variation from a specified measurement. It sets a minimum measurement, the smallest acceptable size, and a maximum measurement, the largest acceptable size. A component is within tolerance if its measurement lies between these limits, including the limits themselves.
