Internet of Things (IoT)

The Internet of Things (IoT) is the connection of everyday physical products to the internet. These products can exchange data and may be monitored or controlled from another location. A smartphone controlling a connected heating system is an example: the phone is not simply displaying information; it lets the user change what a physical product does.
