Hybrid vehicle

Hybrid vehicles combine an engine with an electric motor and can reduce fuel use and emissions compared with a comparable conventional vehicle. Electric vehicles produce no exhaust emissions, but their overall environmental benefit also depends on how their electricity is generated and how they are manufactured. A shorter journey is useful, but distance alone is not a complete measure of sustainability.
