Paper 1
Revise: Colour Depth and ResolutionResolution describes the number of pixels in the image, usually expressed as width × height. An image measuring 800 × 600 pixels contains 480,000 pixels.
Link each change to its cause: higher resolution means more pixels to store; higher colour depth means more bits to store for every pixel.
When comparing resolution, check both dimensions: doubling width and height gives four times as many pixels.
