Paper 2
Revise: Security Measures OverviewA CAPTCHA is a test designed to distinguish a human user from an automated program, or bot. Its name stands for Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart.
Distinguish the checks: passwords and biometrics authenticate a user, CAPTCHA checks for a human rather than a bot, and email confirmation checks access to an email account.
Do not claim that automatic updates prevent every attack or that a CAPTCHA guarantees that a user is trustworthy.
