Revise: Hazards of Electromagnetic WavesUltraviolet (UV), X-rays and gamma rays are at the high-frequency, short-wavelength end of the electromagnetic spectrum. They can damage living tissue, rather than simply warming it.
Link the radiation to a specific hazard: ultraviolet can cause sunburn and skin cancer; X-rays and gamma rays can damage internal tissues and increase cancer risk.
