Revise: Greenhouse EffectThe warmed surface then emits long-wavelength infrared radiation upwards. This outgoing radiation has a longer wavelength than the incoming solar radiation in the greenhouse-effect model.
Link each wavelength to its origin: incoming short-wavelength radiation comes from the Sun; outgoing long-wavelength infrared radiation is emitted by Earth’s surface.
