Revise: Genetic InheritanceA family tree, or pedigree, shows inheritance through generations. Squares represent males and circles represent females. A horizontal line joins two parents; lines descending from their parental connection lead to their offspring.
Read the family tree’s key before interpreting shading, and follow connecting lines rather than assuming everyone in a row is a sibling.
