Revise: Reaction TimeDistractions, such as a phone notification or a conversation that draws attention away from the road, may also delay a driver's response. A driver can therefore travel farther before braking even when the vehicle's brakes work normally.
When evaluating a distraction, compare repeated measurements for the same person with and without it. Differences between people could otherwise affect the comparison.
Use the numerical evidence given. Do not assume that every drug has the same effect or that every participant responds to a distraction in the same way.
