Revise: Direct and Alternating CurrentsTo distinguish direct current from alternating current, consider whether the charge keeps flowing in the same direction or moves back and forth.
When comparing DC and AC, state whether the current stays in one direction or repeatedly reverses. Do not just say that AC ‘changes’.
