Revise: Direct and Alternating Potential DifferenceAn alternating potential difference repeatedly reverses polarity. A terminal that is positive relative to the other becomes negative relative to it, then positive again.
When comparing direct and alternating potential difference, state whether the polarity stays the same or reverses. Saying only that the voltage ‘changes’ is not enough.
