Revise: Senators and equitesA property qualification was the minimum value of property required for membership of an order. It measured wealth owned, rather than yearly earnings. The values were expressed in sesterces, a Roman unit of money.
Give the property qualifications precisely: 1,000,000 sesterces for senators and 400,000 sesterces for equites. These were values of property, not annual salaries.
