Paper 2, Paper 5
Revise: GreeceA free resident foreigner, or metic, was not an Athenian citizen. A foreign woman could live with an Athenian man, but could not lawfully pass herself off as his citizen wife. A household relationship therefore did not automatically establish a recognised marriage or make its children legitimate citizen heirs.
- Revise: Athenian Military Organisation, Recruitment and Funding
