Paper 1, Paper 2
Revise: Presenting ViewpointsA viewpoint is a person's position on an issue and the reasons behind it. Presenting a viewpoint means explaining it clearly enough for someone else to understand both what the person thinks and why. This matters when you give your own opinion, but also when you describe a view you do not share.
Paper 2
A person’s opinion or position on an issue.
Preserve qualifications such as ‘some’, ‘may’ or ‘only if’: changing these can change the viewpoint.
Use citizenship concepts to explain the viewpoint, rather than simply adding words such as ‘fairness’ or ‘rights’.
Represent an opposing viewpoint fairly, then explain why you accept, qualify or reject it. Simply mentioning that others disagree is not evaluation.

Your viewpoint is your position on the issue. Your perspective is the way you understand it, shaped by your experiences and circumstances. Two people may want the same outcome but disagree about how to achieve it.
