MP

First Past the Post (FPTP) is the electoral system used to elect MPs to Westminster, the UK Parliament. The UK is divided into 650 parliamentary constituencies. Each constituency is a geographical electoral area which elects one Member of Parliament, or MP, to the House of Commons.
