A measure of how much a fluid resists flowing; a more viscous liquid flows less easily.
Revise: Hydrocarbon Properties and CombustionViscosity describes resistance to flow: a more viscous liquid is thicker and flows less readily. The stronger attractions between larger molecules also help explain why larger liquid hydrocarbons are generally more viscous.
