Revise: Scientific vs non-scientific questionsQuestions such as “Is this beautiful?”, “What gives life meaning?” or “What ought society to do?” depend on aesthetic judgement, personal meaning or values. Measurements cannot prove one such judgement morally or personally correct.
Look at what the question is asking, not just whether it mentions science. A question about measurable effects may be scientific; a question about what ought to be done involves values.
