Revise: Le Chatelier’s PrincipleLe Chatelier’s principle states that when a system at equilibrium experiences a change in conditions, its equilibrium position shifts in the direction that opposes the change. The response only partly counteracts the imposed change; it does not necessarily restore the original conditions.
