Revise: Apparatus and techniquesPut the reaction mixture in a conical flask, fit an airtight bung connected to a gas syringe, and start the stopwatch as the reactants are mixed. As gas enters the syringe, it pushes out the plunger. Read the gas volume from the syringe scale at regular times and record it alongside the time.
