Paper 1 (Foundation), Paper 2 (Foundation), Paper 3 (Higher), Paper 4 (Higher)
An action or feature used to reduce the likelihood or severity of harm.
Revise: Hazards and risksWhat control measure will reduce the risk?
For each risk, write a complete chain: hazard → possible harm → suitable control measure. Naming goggles without linking them to a particular risk is not a full evaluation.
Match each control measure to a stated hazard. “Wear goggles” earns little credit unless eye injury from a particular splash or flying material is a credible risk.
