Revise: Nanoparticle DimensionsCoarse particles are often called dust. The boundaries meet: 100 nm is the upper boundary of the nanoscale and the lower boundary of the fine-particle range, while 2500 nm separates the stated fine and coarse ranges. These categories are all microscopic, but a 10,000 nm coarse particle is 100 times wider than a 100 nm nanoparticle.
