Audience

Different audiences have different scientific knowledge, interests and responsibilities. Scientists must therefore consider who will receive the information, why it is being communicated and which format will work best. A specialist paper, a public information page and a briefing for politicians may all describe the same research, but they should not present it in exactly the same way.
