Revise: Natural PolymersProteins are polymers based on monomers called amino acids. Many amino-acid molecules join into a long chain. Different amino acids can be placed in different orders, and the resulting chain can fold into a complex shape.
Match each polymer to the correct building blocks: DNA–nucleotides, starch–sugars and proteins–amino acids.
Do not say that proteins are made from nucleotides or that DNA is made from amino acids; these are common mismatches.
Use the plural amino acids because a protein chain can contain different amino acids in different sequences.
