Revise: Disease Detection in PlantsStunted growth is therefore a sign, while nitrate deficiency is one possible cause. The appearance alone does not prove the diagnosis because disease or unsuitable growing conditions could also restrict growth.
When comparing deficiencies, link nitrate deficiency to stunted growth and magnesium deficiency to chlorosis.
