Revise: Infertility TreatmentsInserting two embryos may increase the possibility of a multiple pregnancy. Twins, triplets or more can create serious health risks for both the babies and the mother. This explains why the number of embryos transferred matters: transferring more embryos is not simply an advantage.
When evaluating fertility treatment, link each issue to a consequence. For example, transferring more than one embryo can cause a multiple pregnancy, increasing health risks to the mother and babies.
