Revise: Cellular respirationCellular respiration is the universal, continuous series of chemical reactions that transfers energy from fuel molecules and supplies ATP. Glucose is a common fuel, although organisms can also use other carbohydrates, lipids and proteins.
Do not write that respiration creates or produces energy. State that it transfers energy from fuel molecules and makes that energy available through ATP.
