Revise: Treating Nervous System DamageThe brain and spinal cord form the central nervous system. Neurones carry impulses between these structures and the rest of the body, allowing us to sense changes and control responses. If the spinal cord is badly damaged, impulses may no longer pass between the brain and parts of the body below the injury.
